Joel Beharry, Foundations Pastor
MEET OUR FOUNDATIONS PASTOR
Joel Beharry was born and raised in South Florida, where he spent 12 years serving in various ministry roles on staff at Faith Baptist Church in Margate. His experience in Florida helped cultivate a deep heart for the local church and a passion for discipleship.
In October 2025, Joel felt a clear calling to address the spiritual needs in Wellsville, Ohio, specifically regarding the effort to restart a gospel-centered work in the community. Following a season of prayer and discernment, he relocated to Ohio in January 2026.
Joel is currently partnering with the Massillon Baptist Temple to lay the spiritual foundation for Starting Point Baptist Church. He is excited to see how God will move in Wellsville as this new chapter begins.
